Detailní popis
In this course, students will be immersed in the contributions of scientific geniuses that have changed the way we observe and think about matter, forces, and energy in the universe. Starting with how matter moves, students will learn that all motion can be described, analyzed, and predicted. Then students will explore the causes of changing motion, forces! Energy is a fundamental property essential to human existence, and physics will take students through all the forms of it: electricity, light, sound, heat, and more. Discover how waves travel and interact with matter and the smallest particles in the universe. From tiny atoms to galaxies with millions of stars, the universal laws of physics are explained through real-world examples. Through laboratory activities, simulations, and graphical analysis, combined with rigorous mathematical efforts and problem solving, students follow in the footsteps of some of the world's greatest thinkers and learn to process their world in a unique way.
Study materials (e-books, Discovery Education, etc. ...) for FLVS Global courses are INCLUDED in the price of the course.

Zkušenosti studentů

This course has been a rigorous and intellectually rewarding experience. Honours Physics challenged me not only to deepen my understanding of fundamental principles in mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics, but also to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems and analyse real-world phenomena. It strengthened both my analytical and mathematical skills and fostered a deeper appreciation for the elegance and precision of physical laws.
I am particularly grateful for the structure and clarity of the course materials, which helped guide my learning and allowed me to build a solid foundation of concepts step by step. The assignments and assessments were thoughtfully designed to encourage both theoretical understanding and practical application.
I am proud of the knowledge and skills I have acquired and confident that this experience will serve as a strong foundation for my future academic pursuits in science and beyond.

I strongly want to thank my instructor for the whole year instructing my course, I was feeling really great, I have learned a few new things, from formulas to different procceses in varius corners of physics. I know it was sometimes harder, for instance, when I didn´t manage to do some tasks on time, but we are all only people and each of us is doing plenty of mistakes, but we always need to learn from them and go on and always get better and better. It was really good year, I really enjoyed it, once again, huge thank you

I particularly liked the structure of the course that covered a relatively broad area of Physics. The project sections were genuinely interesting, I had the opportunity to research topics I was not (yet) interested in, which had broadened my horizons. I also appreciated that every lab assignment had a virtual version, enabling me to complete it even If I did not have the physical equipment required. I would also like to thank you as my instructor, an active communication and discussions were something I was not used to at school, and I am very much grateful for it.
